Cette semaine, l’île d’Alameda interdit la circulation sur la rue Fernside pour encourager les résidents à opter pour des modes de transport plus durables, tels que le vélo. En effet, le groupe “We Bike Alameda” organise un club de lecture qui se réunit ce jeudi pour discuter du livre “Bike Battles: A History of Sharing the Road”. Les participants auront l’occasion de discuter de l’importance de promouvoir le vélo comme moyen de transport respectueux de l’environnement. Cette initiative s’inscrit dans le cadre des efforts de la ville pour réduire la congestion routière et encourager un mode de vie plus écologique.
