Momofuku recule dans la guerre des marques déposées pour le ‘chile crunch’

Le célèbre chef David Chang, fondateur du célèbre restaurant Momofuku à New York, a rencontré un obstacle dans sa tentative de déposer la marque « Chili Crunch ». Selon un article de l’Associated Press, le USPTO a refusé d’approuver la demande de marque de Chang, affirmant que le terme est trop générique et commun pour bénéficier d’une protection de marque déposée. Ce refus survient alors que le créateur du Momofuku a lancé une ligne de condiments sous le nom de Chili Crunch. Malgré ce revers, Chang reste déterminé à faire connaître sa sauce piquante et épicée au monde entier.
